The Museum of Tomorrow is a space for harmony. A place for dialogue, for knowledge sharing, for learning, for contemplation. In order for everyone to feel comfortable during their visit to the museum, we recommend the following guidelines.

CLOTHES
There are no inappropriate clothes to visit the museum. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, just avoid entering the museum with no shoes or shirt. Due to the low temperature of the facilities, we suggest you bring a light jacket.

GET THERE ON BIKE
The Museum of Tomorrow encourages the use of alternative, non-polluting means of transportation, and even offers 120 bike rack spots on its external gardens.  The museum doesn’t have a parking lot.

HANDBAGS, BACKPACKS, AND OBJECTS
It’s allowed to walk the exposition areas carrying handbags. For backpacks and big volumes, we offer free lockers in the lobby, right by the coffee shop, where your umbrellas, rollerblades or skates are very much welcome.

FOOD
The gardens around the museum are a great space for grabbing a little snack or a picnic. Indoors, there’s a coffee shop with the same business hours as the museum. In the exposition areas and the conference hall, foods and drinks are not allowed.

CHILDREN
Children over 12 years old must be monitored by their parents or guardians. We ask everyone to keep an eye on them, especially in the external areas, like the reflecting pools and the gardens.

ANIMALS
The external gardens are open to all animals. Indoors, however, only guide dogs along with their owners are allowed.

WIFI
We offer free Internet to all visitors. You just need to register in the network called “Museum of Tomorrow”.

PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
With the exception of the Cosmos (the first area of the Main Exposition), you can take pictures of everything you want in the Museum of Tomorrow. The use of flash and selfie sticks may cause discomfort to the others, so they’re not allowed. If you upload the pictures to social media, use the hashtag #museudoamanhã and show them to us. If you intend to take pictures or record videos for journalistic purposes, contact the Communication department through the following e-mail address: imprensa@museudoamanha.org.br. CELLPHONES AND ELETRONIC DEVICES
With the exception of the Cosmos (the first area of the Main Exposition), the use of cellphones and communication radios are allowed in the whole premises of the museum. In respect for the other visitors, we suggest you don’t speak on the phone in the exposition areas or the conference hall and keep your devices in silent mode.

ACCESS TO THE MUSEUM
The Museum of Tomorrow reserves the right to prevent the access to its facilities of those whose behavior may jeopardize the welfare of the other visitors, the inventory of the museum, and the safety and maintenance of the building.

NO SMOKING
According to the Law No. 9.294, passed on July 15th, 1996, the restriction of smoking is applicable to fully or partially covered areas and spaces meant for human interaction and circulation.
